My username here on YouTube is Hepyrian, pronounced (Hep • Ear • Ian), and I make video essays in two main series. The first of these is Indirect Consequences, which should be relatively self-explanatory. It is a series that finds and discusses the affect one piece of art, or media, or movement has had on everything to come since. The second is Roots, a series which digs into the mechanics and roots of games, movies, or music to discuss what their central argument is and how they use the unique aspects of their medium to make that argument. The third series is Chat, which is sort of sporadic in its production and content. It either will be a nugget I have been thinking about and want to share with you guys, or it’s and interview/discussion with another YouTuber. If any of this sounds interesting, subscribe! I will warn you though, I do take a while to make videos, so don’t expect frequent uploads. Quality over Quantity.
